Women Poets, Writers Topic Of Monmouth County Courts Program

On Thursday, the Monmouth County Vicinage in Freehold will present a virtual program to highlight women storytellers.

FREEHOLD, NJ — Jennifer Chauhan, executive director of Project Write Now, will discuss female poets and writers who published their stories at a Monmouth County courts virtual presentation Thursday.

The program is part of the court's recognition of Women’s History Month.

The virtual presentation is on Thursday, March 9, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

This virtual event is free and open to the public.

Organizers said registration is required and cited Wednesday, March 8, as the date to register by. Those interested in viewing the program can register here.

The Women’s History Month theme this year is “Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories.”

The presentation will include a basic writing workshop. Project Write Now is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming communities, organizations, and individuals through writing.

Trial Court Administrator Gurpreet M. Singh will give opening remarks.
