Armed Robber Sought After Hackettstown Main Street Crime: Cops
Police say the incident occurred near Marley's Gotham Grill Tuesday night.

Hackettstown, N.J. – Hackettstown Police are asking for the public’s help in what they believe to be an armed robbery that took place on Main Street in Hackettstown late Tuesday.
Around 11:05 p.m. police responded to Marley’s Gotham Grill in reference to a man that had been robbed, Sgt. Darren Tynan said. Prior to police arrival, the suspected robber fled the scene, Tynan said.
Police found the alleged victim who said he was assisting a person with a disabled motor vehicle in municipal lot number three, when he was approached from behind by someone with a gun, Tynan said.

There were items stolen from the victim along with an undisclosed amount of money.
Assisting with the investigation is the Hackettstown Detective Bureau and the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 908-852-3300.
