Batting Competition For Hackettstown Kids Coming Up Sept. 18
The free community event for kids ages 5-15 is co-hosted by Hackettstown Recreation and Elks Lodge 2331.
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — Parents can sign their kids up between the ages of 5 and 15, for a batting competition on Saturday, Sept. 18, beginning at 9 a.m.
The free competition, hosted by Hackettstown’s Recreation Department and Elks Lodge 2331, is planned at the American Legion Baseball Field on 450 Willow Grove Road.
According to the event page, signs up start at 9 a.m., with the competition beginning at 10 a.m.

Open to girls and boys, there will be first and second place trophies awarded.
Each child, divided into groups based on their ages, will accrue points for reaching various targets on the field, over 10 pitches each.

CDC guidelines will be followed for the event.
