Celebrate Halloween In Downtown Hackettstown With Parade, Costume Contest
Children – and pets – can win prizes for best costume on Saturday.

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J.– Children – and pets – can win prizes for best costume on Saturday at Hackettstown's third annual Halloween Downtown celebration.
The event, which includes a parade and trick-or-treating, is scheduled for 3-5 p.m., starting at The Gazebo on Main and Moore streets.
Parade participants are asked to line up on West Plane Street between Washington and Main streets at 2:30 p.m.

The parade is slated for a 3 p.m. start.
Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:

- Infant to 3 years old;
- 4 to 6 years old;
- 7 to 10 years old;
- best pet costume.
The event is sponsored by the Hackettstown Police Department, Mars Chocolate North America, Hackettstown Business Improvement District (BID) and Hackettstown Medical Center.
Children will have a chance to meet the M&M's U.S.A. characters as well.
