Centenary University Inducts Five Students into Psi Chi International Honor Society for Psychology Students

Honor society members demonstrate excellence in the study of psychology.

Psi Chi membership is open to psychology students who have completed at least 12 credits of study at Centenary, have sophomore or higher status, and have at least a 3.2 grade point average in the major and their overall studies.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ, Dec. 11, 2025—Centenary University recently inducted five students into Psi Chi, the international honor society for psychology. Membership is open to psychology students who have completed at least 12 credits of study at Centenary, have sophomore or higher status, and have at least a 3.2 grade point average in the major and their overall studies.

“We are very proud of the students who were inducted into the Centenary University chapter of Psi Chi,” said Christine Floether, Ph.D., psychology undergraduate program coordinator. “Centenary’s psychology major is extremely rigorous. These students have risen to the challenge, distinguishing themselves in the classroom and charting a course for success in graduate school and their careers.”
