Warren County Wildfire Contained, Officials Say; Roads Reopen
The Route 46 Wildfire broke out Friday afternoon near Hackettstown, according to the New Jersey Forest Fire Service.

WARREN COUNTY, NJ — A wildfire that broke out near Hackettstown in Warren County on Friday has been fully contained, officials said Saturday morning.
The Route 46 Wildfire started near Hackettstown around 1 p.m. Friday, according to the New Jersey Forest Fire Service. It grew to 100 acres and damaged two outbuildings before officials declared it fully contained as of 8 a.m. Saturday.

The Forest Fire Service deployed fire engines and ground crews to battle the blaze, officials said.
No injuries were reported.

Route 46 from Liberty Township to Hackettstown has reopened, officials said. Tannery and Russling roads are also open.
The fire's cause remains under investigation.
