DWI, Open Container: Recent Police Activity in Hackettstown

Hackettstown Police reported the following recent incidents:

Oct. 28

DWI Arrest

A Hackettstown police officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 46 around 12:29 a.m. The officer came to the opinion that the driver, Baily Hildebrant, 23, of Hackettstown, was under the influence of alcohol.

Hildebrant was charged with DWI, DWI in a school zone, reckless driving and failure to observe a signal.

Possession Of Open Container Of Alcohol

A Hackettstown police officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 46 and detected the odor of alcohol while speaking with the vehicle's occupants.

The officer determined that the passenger, Kevin Davison, 28, had wine inside a Powerade bottle.

Davison was charged with possession of an open container of alcohol and released pending a court appearance.
