NJ Woman Set Up Fight Between 2 Kids, Cops Say

The fight broke out at a Dunkin' Donuts, according to officials.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — A woman who is believed to have encouraged a fight between two kids has been arrested, police said.

On Sept. 30, around 3:30 p.m., police were called to the Dunkin’ on Mountain Avenue in Hackettstown on reports of a “physical dispute.”

A fight had broken out between two children, and authorities were able to break it up, police said.

An investigation found that Magdelin Parra-Delacruz, 35, of Hackettstown, had brought one of the kids to the Dunkin’ and “initiated” their fight, according to officials.

Parra-Delacruz was arrested on Oct. 27 and charged with two counts of fourth-degree cruelty and neglect of children. She was released pending court proceedings.

Police did not specify the relationship between Parra-Delacruz and either of the children.
