WARREN COUNTY, NJ — A flood watch has been issued for Warren County from Thursday night through Friday night by the National Weather Service.

The watch was issued due to a strong low pressure that will hit the area Thursday night through Friday, causing a widespread rainfall of 1 to 3 inches with locally higher amounts, according to the NWS.

The Warren County area was already heavily hit with rain this past weekend causing grounds to be saturated. As a result, the upcoming rain will result in flooding of roadways and areas of poor drainage, as well as the potential for significant river flooding.
