HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — Amur Flame Maple, Hedge Maple and Trident Maple are three of the tree varieties Hackettstown residents can adopt through the town.

The Town of Hackettstown is giving away one free shade tree per resident, that can be planted along one of their property easements.

To get a free tree from the town’s Adopt a Tree program, residents need to send an email to administration@hackettstown.net, with their contact information, address and choice of one of the three tree types.
