Freeze Warning In Hackettstown Expected Through Wednesday Morning
For the season's first freeze, temperatures are anticipated to drop to just below freezing overnight, with frost on the ground by morning.
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — The first freeze of the season is anticipated to hit the Hackettstown area overnight into the morning hours on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
The National Weather Service forecasts a freeze warning for Hackettstown kicking in after midnight and winding down in the morning at about 9 a.m., with temperatures plunging overnight to just below freezing at 30 degrees.

Patchy frost is anticipated to be on the ground after 3 a.m. on Wednesday, with the frosty areas remaining until about 11 a.m., as the sun breaks, with a high of 50 during the day on Wednesday.
Temperatures are expected to hover again at the freezing mark, 31 degrees, on Wednesday night, with the patchy frost coming back after 10 p.m. Wednesday, the National Weather Service reports.

On Thursday, again the frost is expected to stick around before departing around 10 a.m., with a high of 49 degrees for the day and low just above freezing at 32 degrees overnight.
As the weekend returns, the cool weather pattern is anticipated to continue with sunny skies and a high of 50 for Friday, with the dip back to 30 degrees overnight into Saturday. However, for the weekend, the daytime temperatures will likely rise each day to the low-50s, before the following Monday when they’re supposed to rise to 56 degrees for a daytime high.
