GoFundMe Fundraiser On For Hackettstown Woman’s Funeral Expenses

The fundraiser for Briana Healy's family, remembered for touching lives with her upbeat spirit, has raised over $6,300 as of Wednesday.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — “A little sparkle makes it all better,” one of Briana Healy’s favorite quotes, is how many from the Hackettstown area are remembering her.

Healy, who was living in Missouri with her boyfriend Andrew Rowe, died unexpectedly at the age of 38 on Aug. 27, her family now picking up the pieces for her funeral and burial expenses.

Lisa Roth of Netcong, the organizer of the GoFundMe for Healy, described her as a “beautiful soul” who “left an imprint on everyone she met.”

“With that being said, she will be missed by many,” Roth continued.

The fundraiser has reached over $6,300 of a $10,000 goal, to directly benefit her mother Terry Kampka and stepfather Richard Kampka.

Born in Newton to Terry Kampka and Brian Healy, who predeceased his daughter, Briana Healy, who previously lived in Hackettstown before Missouri, is being remembered for how she enjoyed traveling, being a diligent worker, dancing and being a sports fan, with the Yankees, Miami Heat and North Carolina Panthers among the teams she rooted for.

A viewing was held for Healy on Sept. 7 and service on Sept. 8, with the burial at Pequest Union Cemetery in nearby Great Meadows.

Online, there were virtual tributes for Healy, from Missouri and other places where she touched hearts. At on spot in Missouri, they asked that people have a “shot of Jack or a twisted tea in remembrance of a sweet soul gone far too soon.”

Friends showered Healy’s Facebook Page with remembrances after her passing, reminiscing about her smile, bringing them sunflowers, conversations and other tributes.
