Hackettstown Extends Business Food Licenses Through End Of Year

"The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a toll on all businesses, and we don't want to further impact them," Hackettstown's mayor said.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — Hackettstown Mayor Jerry DiMaio has announced plans in conjunction with the Hackettstown Board of Health to extend all 2020 food licenses through Dec. 31, 2021.

The move comes after the coronavirus pandemic has continued to take a financial toll on many local businesses.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a toll on all businesses, and we don’t want to further impact businesses who can’t afford to pay these fees and want to provide some breathing room to help them prioritize how to address their financial obligations," DiMaio said in a statement.
