Hackettstown Kids Can Win Crayola Experience Tickets This Summer

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — Kids up to age 12 in Hackettstown have another great reason to read this summer.

The Hackettstown Free Public Library is holding a mid-summer raffle and giving away two tickets to the Crayola Experience, with every child 12 and under automatically entered into the raffle for a chance to win, if they are signed up for the library’s summer reading program on or before July 21.

Some basics about each program:

• Kids up to the age of 12 who participate can read whatever they’d like, including audiobooks. Parents can pick up the reading log and stickers at the library on 110 Church Street, with prizes given to those who read - or whose parents read to them - for 1,000 minutes this summer. The library also plans on giving out raffle tickets at in-person events and social media promotions, with the deadline on Sept. 2 and drawing on Sept. 3 for this age group. • Sixth through 12th grades can also read regular or audiobooks, then are eligible to win a $25 Amazon gift card for registering. After registering, each book a teen finishes, they can go to the library for a raffle ticket, for any of the library’s prize drawings. Like the children’s reading program, raffle tickets for the teen raffles will be given out at in-person events and on social media promotions, with the final day on Aug. 14. Winners for the teen raffles will be picked on Aug. 16.
• The adult program has the same promotion and $25 Amazon card giveaway like the teens, with the same raffle ticket deadlines.
