Hackettstown School Board Set For Uncontested Election
Two incumbents filed to run for three spots on the board, with one of two others who filed from sending districts. Here are the candidates.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — The Hackettstown Board of Education will have an uncontested election so far this fall.
According to a preliminary list provided directly to Patch by the Warren County Clerk’s Office, two incumbents filed for three, three-year terms.

- Shawn Burke
- Amy Cochran
According to Hackettstown Public School’s website and its roster of Board of Education members, in addition to Burke’s and Board Vice President Cochran’s terms expiring in 2021, terms for Jami Cavanaugh, Lisa Moyer and Courtney Wenthen all expire in 2021.
Wenthen, who represents the Great Meadows Regional sending district, filed her petition with the Warren County Clerk’s Office by the deadline for the three-year term under Great Meadows.

Although Moyer, who represents Allamuchy on the board, didn’t file a petition according to the Warren County Clerk’s preliminary report, that district has a contested race, with four candidates for three-year terms.
