Hackettstown Toddler Issued A Positive Ticket
The girl wanted to do something nice for a local police officer Tuesday morning, who flipped the script and did something nice for her.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — A Hackettstown toddler's wish to do something good for a local police officer ended in something good for her, with the officer writing her a "positive ticket."
The young girl offered to buy a Hackettstown police officer a cup of coffee at a local Dunkin Donuts this morning. Instead, the officer urged the girl to put her coins in the tip jar. To reward her for her kindness, she was given a "positive ticket" in the form of a Quick Check gift card.
Hackettstown police, in partnership with local Quick Cheks, launched the "positive ticket" program in November. Children spotted doing something good will be issued a positive ticket. Police hope the positive tickets will "build relationships of trust" with local children.
