Hackettstown's First 'Huff n' Puff' 5K Run Planning Underway

Planning is already underway for the first "Huff 'n Puff After You Stuff" 5K fun run in honor of Hackettstown's Margaret Walling.

Walling is a Hackettstown Middle School student battling a brain tumor. Walling will be entering the seventh grade next year. She recently celebrated her 12th birthday and will be continuing chemotherapy treatments.

The 5K run event will be held on Nov. 30, just days after Thanksgiving, at the River Park complex.

Organizers are continuing to seek sponsorships, volunteers and runners. Those interested should contact Teri Chichlar, founder of the Margaret Smiles Foundation, at 908-763-0777.
