Heroin, Pot Plants, Found In Warren Co. Man’s Home: Police
The accused was dealing drugs near a school and a public building, according to authorities.
WARREN COUNTY, NJ — A Warren County man has been arrested for his role in a narcotics distribution ring, police said.
David J. Gallagher, of Washington Borough, was arrested on Thursday after an investigation into heroin dealings pointed to him as the suspect, police said.
A two-month investigation into heroin distribution in Washington Borough led police to Gallagher, who was arrested following a search warrant execution at his home on Belvidere Avenue.

Investigators found several drugs, including heroin, in Gallagher’s home, police said. He was also found to be illegally growing marijuana on his property, according to authorities.
Many of Gallagher’s charges relate to his proximity, as he was operating within 1,000 feet of a school and 500 feet of a public building, police said.

He is charged with manufacturing marijuana, operating a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) production facility, and possession of a CDS with the intent to distribute, among several other drug charges.
He was taken to the Warren County Correctional Facility to await court proceedings.
If convicted, Gallagher faces a maximum of 55-and-a-half years in state prison.
