The NWS has updated its snow prediction for the Hackettstown area, with the town providing important storm information.
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — The National Weather Service says that the snowstorm predicted to hit the Northeast overnight is likely to drop 3-5 inches on Hackettstown between midnight and 9 a.m. Friday.
Governor Phil Murphy declared a state of emergency beginning on Thursday at 10 p.m., ahead of the storm.

Thursday Night: Snow, mainly after 2am. Low around 25. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Friday: Snow, mainly before 8am. High near 32. Northwest wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
