How Many Inches Of Snow Will Hackettstown Get, And When?
There's about an 80 percent chance that Hackettstown could see up to 6 inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service.
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ —Sunny skies are expected to return on Sunday, but not before snow blankets the Hackettstown area on Saturday.
The National Weather Service forecasts a Winter Weather Advisory for Hackettstown that began Friday night at 7 p.m. and is expected to last through Saturday at 3 p.m. The storm could bring up to 6 inches of snow to Hackettstown and wind gusts as high as 35 mph. Wind chills may drop as low as -7 degrees, according to the forecast.
The snow may fall taper off by Saturday morning or early Saturday afternoon, making roads slippery, the National Weather Service predicts.

Some sections of Morris County, like Long Valley, are under a Winter Storm Warning. For anyone who needs to travel, they should carry food, water and an extra flashlight, the National Weather Service suggested.

Saturday: Snow, mainly before noon. High near 21. Blustery, with a north wind 15 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 7. Wind chill values as low as -5. Blustery, with a northwest wind 15 to 20 mph.
Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 24. Wind chill values as low as -4. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 10. Calm wind.
