HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — Yesterday's snowstorm was the first major storm of this season, bringing school closings and cancelled work days. Thankfully, power outages were minimal despite the storm's strong wind gusts, and residents mostly stayed inside.
The storm, touted as a bomb cyclone, left several inches of snow across the state. Here's how much snow towns in Warren County got according to the National Weather Service:
- Hackettstown: 4.5 inches at 3:44 p.m.
- Oxford: 3.3 inches at 5:17 p.m.
- Allamuchy: 3.0 inches at 4:54 p.m.
- Blairstown: 2.9 inches at 2:00 p.m.
- Stewartsville: 2.5 inches at 4:27 p.m.
- Greenwich Twp: 2.5 inches at 2.5 3:58 p.m.
