Abilities of Northwest Jersey empowers people with disabilities through day programs, community activities and skill-building opportunities that support independence. Hackettstown Free Public Library
The Hackettstown Free Public Library relies on volunteers to support daily operations, special projects and teen engagement initiatives that strengthen community learning. Adult volunteers can help with shelving, clerical tasks and program support, while middle and high school students can join the Teen Advisory Board to shape materials and events for local youth.

Hackettstown Medical Center
Hackettstown Medical Center welcomes volunteers who want to support patient care and daily hospital operations in a compassionate healthcare environment. Opportunities range from greeting visitors at the information desk to assisting in departments like emergency services, therapy, pastoral care or hospitality roles such as the coffee cart and book cart. Volunteers are asked to attend a four-hour orientation and training session, as well as pass a background and medical check.
