‘Maifest’ To Replace 2022’s Spring Festival In Hackettstown

Maifest is planned for May 14, with more information to come, the Hackettstown Business Improvement District said.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — The Spring Festival — which was planned between May 6 and 8 — is cancelled, but is being replaced in 2022 with “Maifest” on May 14, according to the Hackettstown Business Improvement District (BID).

“The Spring Festival is made up of many moving parts, with most reservations and arrangements being made several months in advance,” the organization stated on its website. “On the heels of two years of a pandemic, critical pieces of the event were not able to come together in time for the BID to adequately present this time-honored event that so many look forward to.”

Maifest is planned to be a family-friendly event, the BID said in its update, describing Maifest as “a popular event that has been growing each year.”
