Man Arrested After Firing Shots Into North Jersey Home, Police Say
The accused was arrested in Pennsylvania, hours after the shooting took place, police said.
WARREN COUNTY, NJ — A man has been arrested after firing a gun at a Phillipsburg residence, according to the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.
Andrew R. Weaver, 20, of Phillipsburg, was arrested on Sunday, just hours after video footage caught him shooting at a home with a firearm.
On Sunday, around 3:30 a.m., Phillipsburg police responded to the 400 block of Anderson Street after being alerted of shots being fired in the area.

Police found that a suspect, later identified as Weaver, had fired several shots into a residence in the area, one of which penetrated a window, according to officials. There were no injuries reported.
An investigation led police to believe that Weaver was the shooter. He was criminally charged and entered as a wanted person in the National Crime Information Center database.

Weaver was arrested around 12 hours later after Pennsylvania State Police pulled over a car he was riding passenger in.
Police located a Glock 9mm handgun in the vehicle, officials said.
Weaver was brought to Lehigh County Prison, where he awaits extradition to New Jersey.
Weaver is charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, and criminal mischief.
If convicted of all charges, Weaver faces a maximum of 35 years in prison.
