HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — Much like last year, it looks like winter waited until the last minute before packing a punch in Hackettstown, with an early March snow storm dumping a significant amount of snow on the town.

According to a National Weather Service public spotter, Hackettstown got 7 inches of snow by 5:10 a.m. on Monday. Essex County saw the most snow, with some towns getting over 9 inches.

And the March snow isn't over yet. There's a 30 percent chance of more snow on Friday night, following a chilly first week of March.
