Officials said Pulver was asleep in her family home along Alphano Road when Garvin broke in on the morning of June 27 and shot her, also threatening family members with a gun before he fled.
A prosecutor said it appears Garvin "lied in wait" to attack Pulver and that investigators found "concerning items" that suggested he may planned to kidnap or sexually assault her, the Daily Record report said.
