North Jersey Man Sentenced For Sexually Assaulting Child Multiple Times

The man assaulted a 9 to 11-year-old on "multiple occasions" in 2015 and 2016.

WARREN COUNTY, NJ — A Warren County man was sentenced to prison on Tuesday after he was found guilty of sexually assaulting a minor.

Victor I. Rosado, 54, of Phillipsburg, was sentenced to 30 years in state prison after he was found guilty of sexually assaulting a child between the ages of 9 and 11 years old.

In April, a jury found Rosado guilty of four counts of aggravated sexual assault, two counts of sexual assault, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Officials said he assaulted the child several times between 2015 and 2016. Authorities added that Rosado and the victim knew each other, but did not provide details of their relationship.

Rosado must serve at least 25 years and six months in prison before he is eligible for parole. Once he is released, he will be subject to parole supervision for life.
