The value of the missing jewelry from the residence was $20,000. Through the investigation, it was

determined that the jewelry was sold at The Gold Mine on Main St in Hackettstown between the dates of

5/25/16 and 6/30/16 by a 31-year-old from Morristown, NJ. On August 25, police found and charged the

individual with receiving stolen property. The individual was unable to post the $7,500.00 bail with

no ten percent option and so was then lodged in the Warren County Correctional Facility.

Hackettstown Police arrested a 30-year-old from Oxford, NJ, on a $228.00 Hackettstown municipal court

traffic warrant. That individual posted the bail and was then released.

Aug. 27

At approximately 3:20AM, the Hackettstown Police responded to the 100 block of Harvey St for a report of a

person sitting in the street. When officers arrived on scene, the officer observed the male to be intoxicated

and was bleeding from a wound on his head. The Hackettstown Rescue Squad arrived on scene

to treat but the 56-year-old from Hackettstown refused medical attention, began to use profanity, and

refused to listen to the officer’s commands. The individual was charged with disorderly conduct and was then

transported to Hackettstown Medical Center. The individual was released, with a court appearance pending.

Hackettstown Police arrested a 24-year-old from Allamuchy Township on an $81.00 Parsippany municipal

court traffic warrant. The individual posted the bail and was then released.
