Teens Can Get Crafty In Hackettstown

Friendship bracelets, dragon origami and more can be filled into a teen craft bag from the library, starting Tuesday, while supplies last.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — While supplies last, Hackettstown teens are invited to “build their own” craft bag at the Hackettstown Free Public Library, from June 1 through June 5.

The library’s clearing out its former teen craft projects including "Ireland in a Jar," friendship bracelets, Washi Tape picture frames, woolen hearts and dragon origami.

Teens can pick and choose crafts based on the available offerings.

The library offers a range of things for Hackettstown teens to do, including volunteering with the Teen Advisory Board, an opportunity for 7th through 12th graders. Teens can also borrow music and movies instantly, get college and test prep help, download magazines and swap recipes, with their photos and experiences making the items posted on the library's website.
