Traffic Slowdowns Expected On Hackettstown's Route 182 Thursday

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — Morning commuters could experience potential congestion on Rt. 182 Thursday morning.

According to a Nixle Alert from the Hackettstown Police Department, issued Wednesday afternoon, utility work on Mountain Ave. near Water St. will close one lane of traffic.

Drivers should anticipate traffic may be stopped or slow in that area of town between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., which could result in travel delays.

In the alert, the police department has asked drivers proceeding through Hackettstown to travel with caution and slowly through the work area, while the project is underway.
