Come Celebrate The Ribbon Cuttings For Two New Hackettstown Businesses On Saturday

El Tucan and Christine's Customs each have ribbon cuttings planned this coming Saturday afternoon.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — There are two new businesses joining the Hackettstown community, with each of their ribbon cutting celebrations happening on Saturday.

The Hackettstown Business Improvement District, the group that fosters economic development in town, announced the upcoming celebrations that each of the businesses plan to host.

El Tucan Hackettstown, which dishes up Costa Rican cuisine and is located on 133 Main Street, is hosting a ribbon cutting with Mayor Jerry DiMaio on Saturday, Sept. 18 at 1 p.m., according to their event page.

The restaurant offers in-person dining, customer pickups and free delivery in Hackettstown and nearby communities.

The Business Improvement District also announced the opening of Christine’s Customs.

That business is additionally hosting its grand opening on Saturday at noon at their new location at 101 Grand Avenue, where they state on their event page that DiMaio will also be stopping by. Christine's Customs also plans on light refreshments at their grand opening. The store says there will be a live broadcast of their grand opening event on their Facebook Page.


According to Christine’s Customs website, they specialize in home decor and “handmade treasures by local artisans.”
