WARREN COUNTY, NJ — Looking for something to do this weekend? Check out this list of goings-on in Warren County, where there’s a focus on getting and enjoying the first days of summer with festivals, food, music, fun and overall getting out for the weekend.
Shop At A Farmer’s Market
Warren County has some community farmers' markets that make weekly appearances for the season, as well as the multitude of local farm stores, with their own markets throughout the county, with Jersey Fresh seasonal local produce, meats, dairy, honey and other items.
The Warren County Farmers Market is on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., every Saturday through Sept. 26, at the White Township School at Routes 46 and 519. There are local farmers and artisans out with produce, baked goods, products, live music and more. Visit their Facebook Page for details.
The Blairstown Farmers Market at 5 Stillwater Road is also on every Saturday through October 30, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Various farms and other sellers are there weekly with produce, pickles, gourmet mushrooms, empanadas, baked goods, pasta, honey and other items.

Storytime In The Park
The Warren County Library is hosting a pop-up story time at Thomas Stewart Park on Friday from 10 to 10:30 a.m. by the pavilion on 112 Greenwich Street in Stewartsville with stories, songs and more. Visit here for more details.
Meet Barnyard Buddies
Get to know the pigs at Von Thun Farms on 438 NJ Route 57 in Washington from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Friday, a fun event for kids ages 2 to 8. Kids will also get to listen to a story and enjoy berry picking. Tickets are $10 each, purchase at the farm market and kids should bring a water bottle, hats and sunscreen. Picnic With A Teddy Bear
On Saturday from 12 to 2 p.m. Von Thun Farms on 438 NJ Route 57 in Washington, is hosting its first Teddy Bear Picnic. Tickets are required for parents and their children, which comes with lunch, story time, a visit with the animals and berry picking. Kids should bring along their Teddy Bear too.
Father And Son Airsoft Battle
Dads and sons can bond over airsoft during the BWK Airsoft event at Stryker Airsoft, 13 New Jersey 57 in Hackettstown from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It’s $60 per person for the private event, which includes a pizza party. Beer And Wine Sampling, Coffee, Food, Music And More
Jersey Girl Brewing at 426 Sand Shores Drive, Czig Meister Brewing at 106 Valentine Street and Man Skirt Brewing at 144 Main Street are just a few choices in Hackettstown with craft beer tastings.
Invertase Brewing Company is another craft brewer on 51 Broad Street in Phillipsburg, with The Big Fuss: NJ Cover Band on Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m.
Buck Hill Brewery & Restaurant at 45 Route 94 in Blairstown, offers American Craft Beer and Food.
Desiderio’s Stone Tavern at 289 Route 31 in Washington, a pet-friendly restaurant with outdoor dining and craft beers, has Your Mom’s Hot on Friday from 8 to 11 p.m. and Mid-Life Crisis on Saturday from 8 p.m. to midnight.
Music at Milagro at Villa Milagro Vineyards in Phillipsburg on 33 County Road 627 is on both Saturday and Sunday with a tasting and musical entertainment. For a $15 cover charge, which includes a glass to keep, there’s a tasting and seating. On Saturday, sample wines from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and listen to the music of Kelly Hooper from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday’s tasting runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with Liliana Cunha from 1 to 4 p.m. More information is here. Beansie’s Coffee Shop at 16 East Washington Avenue in Washington serves up handmade drinks, espresso and desserts. On Saturday for Live Music Saturdays is Steve Kirchuk, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Beansie’s Open Mic is Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
