Cruise Over To a Car Show

New Jersey's Cops 'N' Rodders Car Club will host its 15th annual Cops 'N' Rodders Car Show on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Lowe's and Wendy's Shopping Center (219 Mountain Ave., Hackettstown). Take in all makes and models of cars and tons of vendors while enjoying food and live music from DJs and bands. Trophies and prizes will also be given out. Entry is free for spectators, and car owners can pre-register for $15 to get a prime spot in the lot. More information can be found here.

Compete In Local Olympics Events

Put your discus, high jump and other athletic skills to the test at the Phillipsburg Family Olympics at Walter Park on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. Registration and/or check-in for the child, teen and adult competition levels will begin at 9:30 a.m. A full list of the events and more information can be found here.

'Rave On' With A Buddy Holly Tribute Band

Oxford's Sunday lawn concerts are back this August, and this week's band is "Rave On" – a Buddy Holly/Roy Orbison tribute band. The show is at Shippen Manor (8 Belvidere Ave.) and will run from 5 to 7 p.m. "Bring your friends, family, chairs or blankets, and non-alcoholic drinks and enjoy the easy going, relaxing and toe-tapping mood," Shippen Manor said on the event's Facebook page.

Stroll Through A Sunflower Trail

Journey through a wide-open sunflower field at Washington's VonThun Farms – the New Jersey Sunflower Trail is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends (as well as 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays). Participants can access the trail, take pictures at the farm's several photo op areas, pick peaches and summer flowers and take a hayride throughout the farm with the purchase of a ticket. Weekend tickets start at $12.99 and can be purchased online here.

Shop At A Farmers Market

Warren County has several community farmers markets, as well as the multitude of local farm stores, with their own markets throughout the county, with local produce, meats, dairy, honey and other items.

The Warren County Farmers Market is on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., every Saturday through Sept. 26, at the White Township School at Routes 46 and 519, with local farmers and artisans out with produce, baked goods, products, live music and more. Visit their Facebook Page for details.

The Blairstown Farmers Market at 5 Stillwater Road is also on every Saturday through Oct. 30, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Various farms and other sellers are there weekly with produce, pickles, gourmet mushrooms, empanadas, baked goods, pasta, honey and other items.

The Washington Borough Farmers' Market is at 44 East Washington Avenue, with local produce, flowers, eggs, handmade soaps and candles, handcrafted jewelry and more. Parking is free at the market, which runs Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Oct. 2.
