Warming Center Open In Hackettstown

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — In anticipation of today's bitter cold, the Hackettstown Municipal Building has been opened as a warming center.

The building will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for anyone without power or heat to come warm-up. It will also double as a charging station. Depending on need, the hours could be extended, or it could open again tomorrow.

The high in Hackettstown is just 12 degrees today, and the temperatures are expect to drop to -1 degrees tonight.
