Car Theft Suspect Who Fled Tuesday Captured Friday
Police arrested an Oaklyn man in Camden on a theft and other charges.

A 21-year-old Oaklyn man was arrested Friday and charged with receiving stolen property and resisting arrest after he allegedly stole a car Tuesday, fled on foot and evaded a frantic police search in the borough.
Roger Morin was arrested in Camden today, according to a published report. He was held in county jail there after being processed in Haddonfield.
Morin is charged with taking a car from the driveway of a home in the 200 block of Chestnut Street shortly after 1 p.m. Tuesday.

He was spotted in the car around 5 p.m. that day by Cherry Hill police on Grove Street, near the Haddonfield border with Cherry Hill. Cherry Hill police followed the vehicle. Local police picked up the chase when the car entered Haddonfield. Morin then allegedly abandonded the car and fled on foot near Grove Street and Hopkins Avenue.
A published report said the suspect ran through backyards on Merion and Windsor avenues. Police said a canine unit from Pennsauken assisted in the search that day but could not find him. Police said the car owner knew Morin.
