
Three burglaries are included in recent police reports.
A front door was kicked in and three bedrooms ransacked at a home in the 400 block of Farwood Road on Nov. 22. Four police units scrambled to there after a report of a burglary in progress at 4:33 p.m. that day.
The suspect escaped before police arrived. Jewelry and a laptop were reported missing.

On Nov. 27, a resident in the 500 block of E. Park Ave. reported their unlocked home had been burglarized with in the three previous days. A 40-inch Brivia LCD TV, jewelry and coins were reported missing.
On Nov. 28, a resident in the unit block of Lane of Acres reported a broken window in his front door. The man said he heard a noise 40 minutes before discovering the broken window and reported an attempted burglary to police at 9:42 p.m. that day. Nothing was reported missing.

In other police reports, a resident in the 400 block of Beechwood Avenue reported seeing two men walking down the street checking for unlocked car doors. The men fled in a small white vehicle after the resident confronted them.
A borough animal control officer responded to a report of an owl in stuck in a soccer net at 10:10 a.m. on Nov. 29 in the unit block of Mount Vernon Ave. The owl was freed after the soccer net was cut.
