Haddonfield Police: Four Burglaries, All Forced Entry

Several doors were kicked in.

Four burglaries were reported to Haddonfield police since Nov. 30, all four involved forced entry.

  • Neighbors reported a door kicked in at 1:25 p.m. on Dec. 5 in the 100 block of N. Hinchman Ave. The master bedroom was ransacked, but nothing was reported missing.
  • A caller reported a home in the 100 block of Treaty Elms Lane had several pry marks on a rear door at 1:25 p.m. on Dec. 4. The residence is vacant and nothing was reported missing.
  • A resident in the unit block of Gill Road on Dec. 2 said a window was in their front door was broken and the door was unlocked by a intruder. Nothing was reported missing.
  • A resident in the 1000 block of Washington Ave. reported their home was "forcibly" entered on Nov. 30 and a 42-inch Sony Brivia LCD TV was taken, along with jewelry. The resident said the burglary took place between 7 to 9 p.m. It was reported at 9:10 p.m.

In other reports:

  • A resident in the 600 block of Maple Avenue on Dec. 1 reported a suitcase, which was left on the front steps of the home overnight, was stolen. It contained jewelry and clothing.
  • A woman allegedly stole a white teddy bear from the counter of a store in the 100 block of Kings Highway East on Dec. 2. The suspect was described as a white female, about 40 years old, 5-foot-4, medium build with dark, shoulder-length hair. She escaped after leaving the store.
