HADDONFIELD, NJ - Do you have an idea for how wireless communication and coverage could be improved in the borough? Haddonfield officials want your input.

Municipal officials will be hosting a Wireless Communications Master Plan public meeting on Feb. 8 at 7 p.m. in the borough hall auditorium (242 Kings Highway East), with the borough’s hired CityScape consultants slated to solicit comments and concerns about communication infrastructure from residents.

CityScape has been hired by the borough to develop a communications master plan for the area, officials added.

Services set to be provided by CityScape include an inventory of existing wireless communications structures, an analysis of current network patterns and identifying weak coverage areas and recommendations for managing the development of new wireless structures, as well as a comprehensive set of maps showing existing and potential locations and an analysis of reasonably anticipated wireless facility growth over the next ten years with an emphasis on minimizing towers in the borough.

“Let your voices be heard,” Borough officials said in a statement announcing the event. “Attend the public meeting on the future of communications technology in the Borough of Haddonfield. Public participation is necessary!"
