That's Showbiz... Tupperware 'Queen' Not on Parks and Recreation
Haddon Township Tupperware "queen" left on cutting-room floor after scheduled bit part on NBC's "Parks and Recreation."
Haddon Township actor Kurt Koehler did not make a network television appearance on NBC's Parks and Recreation Thursday night after much fanfare and an anticipatory drum roll.
Koehler, better known in Haddonfield and South Jersey as "Aunt Cassie Rolle," the star of drag Tupperware parties, was scheduled to appear in a bit part in the hit comedy. But the part was omitted from the final cut of the episode, much to the disappointment of friends, family and fans.
"I got over it almost immediately when when my friend Toni called to tell the sad news from the East Coast," said Koehler, 40, in an email today. "This business will chew you up and spit you out if you let it. I just roll with it and catch the next wave."

Koehler said its not uncommon to be edited out of a scheduled program at the last minute. He chose to look at the silver lining.
"I still get the credit, I still got paid," he said. "The scenes may show up as extras and deleted scenes on the DVD, and I can now get hired back on the show again for a different role. It's disappointing not to see the scene, but I'll live."
