12 DWI Arrests, Graffiti At Ann Van Middlesworth Park: Blotter

The Hillsborough Township Police released its blotter for October.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A dozen people were arrested for driving while intoxicated last month in Hillsborough.

Hillsborough Police Blotter:

Oct. 4: Pedro Rodriguez, 39, of Plainfield, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Amwell Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Oct. 5: A resident of Treeman Drive reported her credit card was stolen and used at the Hillsborough Quick Check 12 times. It was unknown how and when the card was stolen. The investigation is ongoing.

Oct. 6: Weis Market (315 Rt. 206) reported that two unknown men stole $348.41 worth of baby formula. The investigation is ongoing.

Oct. 7: A 52-year-old man from Hillsborough was arrested and charged with failure to turn over controlled dangerous substance(CDS) (disorderly persons) while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Oct. 8: A 36-year-old female from Newark was arrested and charged with failure to turn over CDS (disorderly persons) while on a traffic stop on Route 206. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Oct. 10: A 47-year-old male from Pittstown was arrested and charged with failure to turn over CDS (disorderly persons) while on a traffic stop on Amsterdam Drive. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Oct. 11: Nazia Raza, 45, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Beekman Lane. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Oct. 11: Juan Ortega-Campos, 32, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop Auten Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Oct. 12: A 52-year-old man from Hillsborough was arrested and charged with failure to turn over CDS (disorderly persons) while on a traffic stop on Deanna Drive. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Oct. 12: A resident of Auten Road reported she received a call from Capital One saying her credit card was compromised. They then told her someone from the bank would come to her house and get the card. A short time later, a man was at her front door and took her card "for destruction." Later in the day, the victim saw the card was being used at a local Target, and it had a new balance of $669. The investigation is ongoing.

Oct. 12: Deepesh Patel, 41, of Plainsboro, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Oct. 12: Mariano Flores, 22, of North Plainfield, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Dukes Parkway East. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Oct. 13: Petrock’s Bar and Grill (415 Amwell Road) reported that an unknown suspect left the store with $58.63 worth of alcohol without paying. The investigation is ongoing.

Oct. 17: Nijah Dupiche, 33, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Woodruff Blvd. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Oct. 17: Mariehope Mouko, 43, of Princeton, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Oct. 17: A 62-year-old woman from Somerset was arrested and charged with failure to turn over CDS (disorderly persons) while on a traffic stop on Route 206. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Oct. 18: Joseph Daniel, 24, of Brookside Lane, was arrested for DWI while on a motor vehicle crash investigation on Andria Avenue. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Oct. 18: Officers responded to an unoccupied home on Amwell Road that was forcibly entered. The owner found a ladder leading to a smashed window. Nothing was reported stolen. The investigation is ongoing.

Oct. 19: Graffiti was found in the bathrooms of Ann Van Middlesworth Park (584 Pleasant View Road) by officers during a foot patrol. The investigation is ongoing.

Oct. 21: Shalini Hede, 50, of Hillsborough, was arrested and charged with nine counts of shoplifting (disorderly persons) after an investigation revealed she "skip scan" several items during multiple visits to Shoprite (601 Rt. 206). The total of the items over the timeframe was $276.23. She was identified when she used her customer rewards number during checkout. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Oct. 21: Rosa Cepeda-Vargas, 42, of Charlotte, NC, was charged with receiving stolen property (DP) after an investigation revealed she used a Hillsborough resident’s credit card to buy airplane tickets for $1,699.44. She was served her charge and advised of her Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Oct. 22: Raymond Giuliano, 22, of Hillsborough, was arrested and charged with obstruction (disorderly persons) while on a traffic stop on Flemming Drive. This was after he refused to provide an officer with documents or follow lawful orders. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Oct. 25: Officers found a Honda Accord on Route 206 that was reported stolen out of Franklin Township. While trying to stop the vehicle, it fled at a high rate of speed southbound into Montgomery Township. The investigation is ongoing.

Oct. 26: Marcin Hospod, 41, of Clifton, was arrested for DWI while on a motor vehicle crash investigation on Route 206. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Oct. 26: Devon Meissner, 23, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Oct. 26: Ashely Leone, 35, of Piscataway, was arrested for DWI while on a motor vehicle crash investigation on Amwell Road. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Oct. 27: Kayla Ball, 30, of Englewood, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Doctor’s Way. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

Oct. 31: A resident on Orchard Drive reported an unknown suspect forced entry into his detached garage and stole a Yamaha quad worth $11,000. The investigation is ongoing.
