2 New Supervisors Hired To Help Shape Hillsborough Students
Noel Baxter and Daniel Polles were each unanimously appointed Monday Board of Education meeting.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Two new supervisors were welcomed by the Hillsborough Township Board of Education(BOE) on Monday night.

Noel Baxter was unanimously appointed as the district's new Supervisor of Social Studies and Gifted & Talented.

Baxter's employment will go into effect on July 1 and continue through June 30, 2026 with a salary of $150,000. Baxter is replacing Abraham Nole , who resigned.
She had been serving as Supervisor of Social Studies in Scotch Plains for the past 14 years.

"I’m just really excited to join the team here. I love being a supervisor. I love working with teachers. Social studies is definitely my passion," said Baxter.
Daniel Polles
Additionally, Daniel Polles was unanimously appointed by the BOE as the district's new Supervisor of Physical Education, Health and Nursing.
Polles' employment will go into effect on July 1 and continue through June 30, 2026 with a salary of $100,000.
"Polles currently works in Hillsborough High School. He is a budding leader and has a lot of experience in both physical education and curriculum development. And we are happy to get him on board too," said Volpe.
"My mission in this new role includes two overarching objectives both of equal importance. First I will ensure our students receive the best most meaningful health and physical education experience possible while preparing them to live healthy and active lifestyles," said Polles. "My second objective is to support our dedicated nursing staff with providing quality health care for our learning community."
