Contract Renewed For Hillsborough Schools Business Administrator
The Hillsborough Board of Education approved the renewal at its Monday night meeting.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A new contract was approved for Administrator/Board Secretary Gerard Eckert to continue serving the Hillsborough Township School District for another year.
The Hillsborough Township Board of Education(BOE) approved Eckert's new contract at the May 12 meeting.
Under his new contract, he was set to receive a salary of $219,818 to begin on July 1 and continue until June 30, 2026.

Eckert was initially appointed in January 2022. Before that, he previously served as Assistant Business Administrator in Hillsborough from 2008 through 2014 before serving with the Randolph Public Schools as Business Administrator/Board Secretary.
