Cooling Centers In Hillsborough: Heat Advisory Issued
In Hillsborough, heat index levels up to 102 are expected through Wednesday.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — As scorching temperatures rise to dangerous levels, there are cooling centers in Hillsborough and across Somerset County to offer some relief to residents.
A Heat Advisory was issued by the National Weather Service for Hillsborough for Tuesday, Sept. 5, and Wednesday, Sept. 6 due to forecasted hot temperatures and high humidity.
Heat index values up to 102 are expected.

Somerset County offers several cooling centers throughout the county including one in Hillsborough. See the list below of all the cooling centers in the county or residents can call 211 or visit soconj.gov/coolingcenters:
