Deadline Approaching For Performance Artists To Apply For Somerset County Diversity Festival
Applications are due by July 17 for musicians, dancers, and entertainers interested in taking part in the 2023 festival.
SOMERVILLE, NJ – Applications are due by Monday, July 17, for musicians, dancers, and entertainers interested in taking part in the 2023 Somerset County Diversity Festival being conducted on Sunday, Oct. 15, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Somerville. Artists will receive payment, and their artforms should reflect the county’s unique and diverse cultures and communities.
Performance Venues
Musical performances will take place for 30 to 45 minutes on the “Show Mobile” stage on Grove and Main streets, and dancers will perform for 10 to 15 minutes on another stage on Main Street.
Payment
“Show Mobile” performers will receive a fixed payment rate of $200 per musician with a cap of $1,600 for a musical artist or band. Dancers will receive a fixed rate of $200 per adult dancer with a cap of $1,600, and dance school performances will receive a flat rate of $200.
