Hillsborough Schools Close Due To Snow

The National Weather Service is projecting between 4 to 6 inches of snow to fall in Hillsborough on Monday night and continuing Tuesday.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — All Hillsborough Public Schools will now close on Tuesday due to weather conditions and hazardous road conditions, announced the district on Tuesday morning.

All after-school events are canceled.

The district had initially announced a delayed opening on Monday night. The decision was changed to a full closure on Tuesday morning.

Tuesday: Snow, mainly before 2 p.m. High near 33. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 11. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
