Vietnam veteran Michael Leo Silverman is recognized for his service and the quiet ways he continues to support others in Hillsborough.

[He served in] Vietnam. Mike is always helping others in need without hesitation. Picks up garbage along roads, helps people having MV problems and just being there for them until help arrives.
