HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Local families and pet owners who have experienced loss from Hurricane Ida storm, help is on the way.

Amwell Pet Supply is selling food and supplies at a reduced cost for pets to those affected by the remnants of Ida.

Those affected just need to stop in on any Saturday at the store at 434 Route 206 South in Hillsborough and speak to Hope Valenti, the owner. Bring a picture of their damage and Amwell Pet Supply can try and help with what they need.

"We feel for every person and pet affected by this storm. We will try and do what we can to help. No animal should ever be hungry and we can help," said Owner Hope Valenti.

Additionally, if anyone wants to help Amwell Pet Supply is also collecting monetary donations to be put towards helping others with food and supplies.

"This is to give back to the community in its time of need," said Valenti. "Amwell Pet Supply is not looking to make any profit in doing this. It is just the RIGHT thing to do."
