3rd Annual Home Run Derby (Hillsborough Baseball League)

The Hillsborough Baseball League will host its third annual Home Run Derby fundraiser on Saturday, June 7, at MVP Field 3, with festivities set to include the debut of a new Mini-Derby for the league’s youngest players.

Open to participants of all ages and skill levels, the event aims to raise funds for the nonprofit youth organization, which serves hundreds of local children through baseball programming and community outreach. This year’s event is open to the public, with opportunities to register, participate, or donate.

The Mini-Derby, introduced this year for children ages 5 to 6, begins at 3:30 p.m., following a 3 p.m. check-in. The main Home Run Derby for ages 7 and up kicks off at 4:30 p.m., with check-in starting at 4 p.m. The event’s opening ceremonies, a rescheduled celebration not directly tied to the Home Run Derby, will now take place from 4 to 4:30 p.m. at MVP Field 3.

Alongside the competition, attendees can enjoy live music from DJ LtPatT of Have A Blast Radio, a 50/50 raffle, and an afternoon of family-friendly entertainment. All proceeds support the Hillsborough Baseball League’s mission to provide affordable youth sports programs.
