Hillsborough Director Is All In With His New Poker Dramedy TV Series

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough director Thomas Baldinger has teamed up with Kent Radford to create UN$UITED, a comedy/drama TV series, which will have a screening on Friday in Jersey City.

On June 23, the Golden Door International Film Festival will be screening the first two episodes of the TV series UN$UITED - which Baldinger co-wrote, directed, and produced - at the Art House in Jersey City. The show will close out the Adult Comedy Block Red Carpet Event as the headliner.

"Our hope is to get eyes on the project. To find a suitor and/or production team to co-produce the full series," said Baldinger of 624 Productions LLC.

The series will then be screened in Las Vegas on July 6 during the World Series of Poker Tournament.

The series follows Greg Mucha, played by Michael Satow, who is a young and bright guy from New Jersey. Mucha gives up his inheritance to move to Las Vegas to become a professional poker player. Unbeknownst to him, he is the worst to ever play the game.

Series stars include Satow, Tony Denison from TNT's The Closer, Dan Lauria from The Wonder Years, Carmine Giovinazzo from CSI NY, Ronnie Marmo from General Hospital, Janelle Marmo, Mark Riccadonna and Jackie Burns.

Baldinger also called on professional poker player Thomas K. McEvoy for help with the script. McEvoy also plays himself in the series.

"The show is not only for the poker community but the general audience. We don't get too much into the weeds of poker," said Baldinger.

Overall Baldinger said he is "extremely happy" with how the show turned out and is excited to share it with others.
