Hillsborough Halloween Events For 2024

Events include a Children's Halloween Party, a dog "Howl-O-Ween" Parade and Costume Contest, and Trunk or Treat.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The Hillsborough Parks & Recreation is brewing up a cauldron of Halloween fun this year, with spooktacular events for everyone.

  • On Thursday, Oct. 24, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Norz Hill Farm will be the 10th annual Children's Halloween Party. This event is $12 per child. All registered children can go on a hayride, receive a pumpkin from the patch, walk through the kids' bale maze, and get a goodie bag. Pre-registration is required. Click HERE to register.
  • On Saturday, Oct. 26, starting at 8:30 a.m. the 9th annual dog "Howl-O-Ween" Parade and Costume Contest will take place at Ann Van Middlesworth Park. During this event families and pets will be able to gather in the dog park while Hillsborough Girl Scouts rank the costumes and select prize winners such as best costume, best group costume and much more. All prizes are donated from local businesses. No pre-registration is required. Back again this year is our Trunk or Treat at the Willow Road Complex.
  • The Trunk or Treat event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. This is an excellent option for young trick-or-treaters. Families provide a decorated "Trunk/Vehicle" along with peanut-free candy to hand out to the Trunk or Treaters and all children associated with that "Trunk" can "Treat" for FREE. Pre-registration is required. All Trunk or Treaters will also be able to vote for the "Best Trunk Award" so get creative. Pre-registration is required. Click HERE to register.
